Greenback Fire Department was established in 1963 as a subscription based Department. Greenback Fire started out with a 1948 Ford Pumper with a 250 gpm pump with a 1200 gallon tank. This was all that the department had until January 1972 when we started adding to the fleet.
We currently have 26 vehicles and 3 Stations providing coverage for the Greenback Area. While we are a 100% Volunteer Department we have over 50 Trained members ready to serve our community at a moments notice. Our Volunteers are thoroughly trained, properly equipped, and fully supported to deliver safe, prompt and exceptional service to our community. In our EMS First Response Program we have Nationally-Certified EMTs, Advanced EMTs and EMRs ready to go 24/7 365. We are always looking for New Members to help us protect and serve our community apply here online today.
